Little Rascal's Pet Motel and Resort located at 6204 State Road 32 West, Anderson, Indiana is that special home away from home for your four legged friends. Lloyd and Gail Shinholt, owners of this special place, have been in the pet industry since 1989, we opened our doors as "Gail's Professional Dog Grooming".

Gail, a graduate of Fort Wayne's Tri-State Academy of Pet Grooming, took care of the grooming end of the business while Lloyd did the bathing of animals and front desk duties.

The boarding part of the business actually happened by accident. It started when several of our customers asked if we would mind caring for their pets while they were away on vacation. Since having a house full of dogs and cats was never looked upon as anything but normal for us, we accepted this new responsibility willingly. It was only after waking up one night to find our bed surrounded by at least 10 dogs from the shop that we decided to make pet boarding an official part of our business.

We kept our eyes open for a piece of property in the surrounding area that would meet the growing needs of our business. Finally one day we found the property we felt was perfect for our new business location, on State Road 32 west of Anderson, Indiana. The new location is just a short 15 minute drive from Fishers, Noblesville, and other surrounding communities.

Here we proceeded to build a new and improved version of our original shop, the name was changed to Little Rascal's Pet Motel and Resort and the new business was officially on it's way. Click on the photos to view a larger image.
